ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions signed veteran kicker Zane Gonzalez as the search for Matt Prater’s replacement continues.
Prater took over Gonzalez’s job when he inked a deal with the Arizona Cardinals in the off season.
The Lions waived kicker Matthew Wright to make room on the roster. Gonzalez and Randy Bullock will now compete to be Detroit’s placekicker.
