COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Strong winds and driving rain knocked out power to a large portion of the City of Coldwater Thursday morning, with much of the out county area also without electricity because of the storm.

The National Weather Service issued its first Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Branch County at 5:52 a.m., with another issued from 6:12 a.m.-6:45 a.m.
