LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is urging the state’s utilities to increase the amount of credits being offered to customers in connection with last week’s storms.
Nessel maintained that Consumers Energy and DTE should be providing more than the $25 credit available.
She explained that those who lost power should also get compensation for food and other losses incurred in the outages, and that the credit should be automatic and not have to be applied for.
