PITTSBURGH, PA (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers for their second preseason game tomorrow.
Detroit was clipped by the Buffalo Bills 16-15 in the exhibition opener last Friday.
The Lions host the Indianapolis Colts in the final game of the preseason next week.
Former Lions wide receiver Leonard Thompson has died. Thompson was drafted out of Oklahoma State by Detroit in 1975 and played for the Lions through 1986. He appeared in 175 games and scored 35 career touchdowns.
Leonard Thompson was 69-years-old.
