GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Detroit Red Wings assistant general manager Pat Verbeek has been named General Manager of the Grand Rapids Griffins. He will also continue his role with Detroit.
Verbeek played 20 years in the NHL, including two seasons with the Wings.
