BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Organizers for the Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival have announced the United States Air Force Thunderbirds will perform at the 2022 event.
The 2022 Festival will be held between June 30 and July 4.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports the Thunderbirds are scheduled to practice on July 2 and perform on July 3 and 4. This will be their first appearance in Battle Creek since 2016.
A post on the festival’s Facebook page says planning is in full swing.
The Thunderbirds were scheduled to perform at the 2020 Festival but the event was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
