LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A West Michigan state representative has come out in favor of a measure that would prohibit employers from discriminating against employees who refuse to get the COVID vaccine.
Beth Griffin, a Republican from Mattawan, said Thursday in a discussion of the bill that “people should be able to go to work without being forced to take vaccines to keep their jobs”.
The hearing discussion mentioned an “opt-out” option that would be created for employees who don’t want to receive the vaccination.
The measure remains in committee pending a vote.
