BROOKLYN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Ryan Blaney’s number 12 Ford was the first to cross the finish line in the Fire Keepers Casino 400 at the Michigan International Speedway.
Blaney got a big push from Kyle Busch on a restart with seven laps to go and held on for his second win of the season. William Byron was second. Kyle Larson, who started on the pole, finished in third as he was unsuccessful in his bid to win for the fourth time at MIS.
Kurt Busch finished fourth and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top five.
The NASCAR Cup Series moves to Daytona Saturday.
