LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – State officials have issued a warning against drinking any cider products made at Bowen Mills in Middleville.
The State Department of Agriculture and Rural Development stated in a release that the Barry County business has been issued a cease-and-desist order regarding the operation of an unlicensed cider processing facility and selling said cider, a state food regulation violation.
The order involves any cider purchased from Bowen Mills, in any size container.
Anyone who has purchased the cider is urged to dispose of it.
