LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – US Senator Debbie Stabenow and Michigan Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist will be a part of a virtual press conference Wednesday that will announce a new transformational behavioral health and addiction initiative in Michigan.
Joining them will be Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller and the director of the state Department of Health and Human Services, Elizabeth Hertel.
The proposal, spearheaded by Stabenow, is expected to help ensure permanent funding for community mental health and addiction services.
