DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Average gas prices in Michigan have remained mostly unchanged during the past week and are still at some of the highest levels in years.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is now $3.27, just two cents lower than a week ago and $1.22 higher than this time last year. Motorists are paying an average of $49 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; an increase of about $10 from when prices were their highest last January.
AAA Michigan says there’s no end in sight to the high prices currently as crude oil prices remain above $80 per barrel.
