MUNCIE, IN (WKZO AM/FM) – Lew Nichols III rushed for 219 yards and three touchdowns as Central Michigan University won their third straight and improved to 7-4 with a 37-17 victory at Ball State Wednesday night.
The Chippewas took control of the game in the second quarter when they outscored Ball State 21-10.
Central Michigan is 5-2 in the Mid American Conference. They are one game back of Northern Illinois for first place in the MAC West.
