INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State University handed Butler their first loss of the season as the Spartans beat the Bulldogs 73-52 in men’s college basketball last night in Indianapolis.
Gabe Brown led all scorers with 19 points. MSU overcame 20 turnovers and held Butler to 29 percent shooting.
It was the first matchup between the teams in Indianapolis since the 2010 Final Four.
MSU improves to 2-and-1 and hosts Eastern Michigan University at the Breslin Center Saturday.
