(Reuters) – British technology firm IQE Plc said on Monday it has appointed New York-based peer GlobalFoundries’ Americo Lemos as its chief executive officer effective Jan. 10, ending a roughly year-long search.
IQE CEO and founder Drew Nelson last year announced plans to step down after spending 30 years at the helm of the company, which makes semiconductor wafers for chips used in Apple products.
