BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Calhoun County Public Health Department is now offering COVID-19 vaccine booster shots for residents ages 18 and up.
With this latest recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control, Michigan residents can now receive Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, or Pfizer booster vaccines if they have received their primary COVID-19 vaccines.
Eligible adults should plan to get booster doses six months after the primary mRNA series or two months after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
COVID-19 vaccines boosters will be offered at the Toeller Building at 190 East Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek and at the Albion Health Department at 214 East Michigan Avenue in Albion Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
Appointments are required Monday through Thursday, and walk-ins are available on Friday.
The Public Health Department clinics will be closed this Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving.

Michiganders should bring their COVID-19 vaccine card or immunization record with them when getting their booster dose.

With rising cases in Calhoun County, the COVID-19 booster will protect you even further as we are entering the holidays with family and friends.”
