HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The driver of a vehicle which hit a tree in Hillsdale County on Sunday morning was taken to Hillsdale Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says 27-year-old Jesse Hurst was heading west on North Adams Road west of Lake Pleasant Road just before 8:00 a.m..
He told deputies he swerved to avoid hitting a vehicle in his lane but his vehicle went out of control.
The Hurst vehicle crossed the center line, ran off the road and struck a tree.
The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the crash.
