CLARENDON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Long time race driver Tim Wilber of Coldwater will take over ownership of the Butler Motor Speedway in 2022.
After several months of rumors, Wilber made the official announcement Monday night on the “Horsepower Happenings” podcast hosted by Zach Hiser and Rich Frantz.
Wilber will take over ownership of the dirt track in northeast Branch County from Denny Donaldson who has owned it for almost three decades.
The ownership change is scheduled to take place in February but Wilber says work and planning for the next season of racing has begun.
Wilber and his wife Jenny also plan to be the promoters for the track which was built in 1952.
Congratulations Tim and Jennie,
You have my fullest support. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Does Butler Motor Speedway have a website that works? I am trying to find track photos from the 60s and 70s.
