DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices in Michigan are holding steady after weeks of decline, according to a report from AAA Monday.
Michigan drivers are still paying an average of $3.10 per gallon for regular unleaded, the same price as last week.
This price is 19 cents less than this time last month and 87 cents more than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $46 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; a discount of $5 from when prices were their highest last November.
“After weeks of declining prices, Michigan motorists are beginning to see gas prices hold steady,” AAA spokesperson Adrienne Woodland said. “If crude oil prices continue to increase, pump prices will likely follow suit.”
