EVANSTON, IL (WKZO AM/FM) – In men’s college basketball, tenth-ranked Michigan State used a 47-34 second half to defeat upset-minded Northwestern 73-67 in Evanston Sunday.
The Spartans were down by 13 points late in the first half and trailed 33-26 at halftime.
Four Spartans finished in double figures led by Gabe Brown with 20 points. Marcus Bingham, Jr. added 13 points. Bingham and Joey Hauser both grabbed nine rebounds.
MSU is now 12-2 overall and 3-0 in the Big Ten. They will host Nebraska Wednesday.
