ANAHEIM, CA (WKZO AM/FM) – Rickard Rakell scored the winning goal in the shootout as the Ducks slipped past the Detroit Red Wings 4-3 in Anaheim Sunday.
Trevor Zegras also lit the lamp in the shootout and in regulation, while Lukas Dostal stopped two shootout attempts to earn the victory in his NHL debut.
The Ducks have won two-of-three on the heels of a four-game skid.
Filip Hronek, Tyler Bertuzzi, and Vladislav Namestnikov scored for Detroit.
