ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell confirmed yesterday that the team and offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn have parted ways.
Lynn joined Detroit last off season after serving as head coach with the Los Angeles Chargers for four years.
Campbell took over calling plays after the team’s 0-and-8 start and said he will have to decide if he wants to continue doing that before considering filling the OC position.
The Minnesota Vikings are undergoing major changes. According to multiple reports, the team is parting ways with General Manager Rick Spielman and Head Coach Mike Zimmer. The Vikings finished the season with an 8-9 record and missed the playoffs.
The Chicago Bears are parting ways with Head Coach Matt Nagy and General Manager Ryan Pace. Multiple reports confirmed the team will move in a different direction after the Nagy and Pace-led Bears finished the season with a 6-11 record.
The owner of the Miami Dolphins is taking personal responsibility for firing the team’s head coach. Stephen Ross said he made the decision to let Brian Flores go. Flores went 24 and 25 in three seasons with the team. Ross said the move to get rid of Flores was “in the best interest” of the team.
