EAST LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A report from Michigan State University shows that the pandemic has had a detrimental effect on student learning in Michigan.
The study, created by MSU’s Education Policy Innovation Collaborative, also stated that two key elements in the results showed that the results were affected by race and ethnicity, and by the amount of time spent in virtual learning.
According to the report, the results were consistent across subjects, grades, and test providers.
The longer a student remained in distance learning, the better the chance he/she would be affected by the learning deficit.
