COLORADO SPRING, CO (WKZO AM/FM) – Several players with Michigan ties have been named to the USA men’s Olympic hockey team.
Current University of Michigan players Matty Beniers and Brendan Brisson will be joined by former Wolverines Steven Kampfer and Strauss Mann.
Pat Nagle, who played at Ferris State and Grosse Pointe Woods native Andy Mieleare also on the roster.
In December, the NHL pulled their players from next month’s Beijing Winter Olympics.
