(Reuters) – A “hazardous tsunami” has been generated by volcanic activity in Tonga, the U.S.-based Pacific tsunami warning center said.
There is a threat to American Samoa of sea level fluctuations and strong ocean currents that could be a hazard along beaches in harbors, it said in a statement.
