BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – All three Branch County teams in the Big 8 Conference dropped league girls basketball games on Friday night.
After defeating Springport 66-28 back on December 7, the Bronson Vikings lost the return game at Springport on Friday night 52-48. With the loss, the Vikings are now 7-5 overall and 6-2 in the Big 8 Conference.
Quincy lost at home to Homer 47-32. It was the Orioles first game in 14 days after two postponements. Quincy is now 1-6 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
Union City was also beaten at home as they lost to Concord 58-50. The Chargers lost their sixth straight game as they fell to 2-8 overall and 0-6 in the Big 8.
Meanwhile, Jonesville remained undefeated and in first place in the Big 8 with a 37-29 win at Reading.
