Scott Edward Walker, 58, of Coldwater passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at his home.
A funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler from the First Congregational Church officiating. Interment will follow at Bronson Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, February 4, 2022 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and again Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m.
For those who cannot attend in person, Scott’s funeral will be webcast on his Dutcher Funeral Home webpage beginning at 11:45 a.m.
Scott was born April 12, 1963 to Bertram and Alice (McCann) Walker in LaGrange, IN. He was a special needs child and spent his adult life living in an ADAPT home, first at the Quimby Home and then moving to the Gail Ann Home in 1990.
Scott was a prankster at heart with a great smile that could light up a room. He was a fun loving man who enjoyed giving everyone hugs. Scott liked fire trucks, sports of any kind, people watching, and animals.
He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and having an infectious laugh. Scott will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Scott is survived by his mother Alice Walker of Nancy, KY; his sister Kathy Johns of Nancy, KY; his brothers James Walker of Dade City, FL and John (Robin) Walker of Manchester, TN; three nieces; one nephew; one uncle; three aunts; three great nieces; one great nephew; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Bertram Walker; his grandparents on both sides of the family; his uncles; and a few cousins.
