MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WKZO AM/FM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves took control of the second half in a 118-105 win over the Detroit Pistons at the Target Center.
After trailing by one at halftime, Minnesota went on a 9-0 run to begin the third quarter, and the Wolves led by as many as 13 points during the win. Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 24 points to lead the team, and D’Angelo Russell chipped in with 22.
The Timberwolves have won their last four games.
Saddiq Bey poured in 24 points for Detroit, which dropped its fourth straight. The Pistons fall to 12-and-41.
