LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Prosecutors say that they will not pursue an appeal after charges against a former Michigan State University president were dropped.
Lou Anna Simon was charged with lying to a grand jury in connection with the Larry Nassar case, but those charges were dismissed by two courts for insufficient evidence.
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said that, while she still believes there is a case to be made against Simon, she will not seek assistance from the state Supreme Court.
