BATH TOWNSHIP MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The ongoing investigation of former State House Speaker Lee Chatfield reached another level Tuesday, as State Police troopers conducted a raid on Chatfield’s chief of staff’s house in Bath Township.
The raid was executed in conjunction with the state Attorney General’s office, which is conducting the investigation into allegations that Chatfield sexually abused his sister-in-law from 2010 to last year.
Chatfield’s attorney has maintained her client’s innocence, stating that the relationship was consensual and took place when the woman was an adult.
