LAKELAND, FL (WKZO AM/FM) – Detroit Tigers pitching prospect Zack Hess will miss the 2022 season as he recovers from Tommy John surgery.
The seventh-round pick out of LSU in the 2019 draft had the procedure last month.
Hess spent 2021 with High-A West Michigan and Double-A Erie.
