COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Hillsdale St. Joseph Community Health Agency announced on Monday they have redesigned the scheduling process for COVID-19 vaccine appointments during the Recovery phase.
Residents will find different options when they log onto www.bhsj.org/scheduling.
Starting this Friday April 1, residents will select the county in which they chose to be vaccinated and click on “Schedule an appointment”.
Users will be taken to the screen for registration in which they select the type of vaccine they desire.
Once the type of vaccine desired is selected, all available dates and times for a four-week period will be presented.
Residents can then select the date and time which is most convenient for them.
The remainder of the registration process is the same.
Information on name, phone number, email address, and which dose will be requested. A confirmation email will be sent with the vaccine information sheet and consent for vaccine document attached.
Personal Health and Disease Prevention Director Kali Nichols says, “As we work through the recovery phase, the agency has evaluated the effectiveness of our scheduling process. We believe this new process will streamline access for residents and support our clinical teams’ efforts to continue providing COVID-19 vaccination. Vaccination remains the safest way to prevent severe illness, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19. Our desire is to protect the health and safety of the communities we serve.”
