WICHITA, KS (WKZO AM/FM) – Three-seed University of Michigan lost to one-seed Louisville 62-50 in an Elite Eight match-up in the women’s NCAA basketball tournament last night.
Naz Hillmon led the Wolverines with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Hailey Van Lith led the Cardinals with 22 points and Chelsie Hall scored 15 points.
U of M finishes the season with a record of 25-and-7.
The 2022 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Final Four is set. Louisville, Connecticut, Stanford and South Carolina will battle it out in Minneapolis for college basketball’s biggest prize. South Carolina will play Louisville Friday, with UConn taking on Stanford in the nightcap.
UConn advanced Monday night with a 91-87 double overtime win over North Carolina State.
