DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A day after Miguel Cabrera’s 3,000th career hit, the Detroit Tigers came up short at home.
Detroit fell 6-2 to the Rockies Sunday afternoon. Tyler Alexander allowed five runs over three and two thirds innings in the loss.
Detroit won the opening game of Saturday’s doubleheader 13-0, but fell in the nightcap 3-2.
Detroit is 6-and-9. The Tigers will travel to Minnesota visit the Twins tomorrow.
