Draws for MHSAA Division 1 baseball and softball district tournaments in Coldwater announced

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater will be hosting M.H.S.A.A. Division One Baseball and Girls Softball district tournaments on May 31 and June 4.

The draws for both tournaments have been announced.

In the baseball tournament, Sturgis will host Battle Creek Central on May 31.

The Sturgis-Battle Creek Central winner will face Coldwater in the first semifinal at Lowe Field on June 4 starting at 10:00 a.m..

Battle Creek Lakeview will play Jackson in the second semifinal at 12:00 noon.

The two winners will meet for the district title at 2:30 p.m. on June 4.

In the girls softball tournament, the host Lady Cardinals will face Portage Central on May 31.

The Coldwater-Portage Central winner will face Battle Creek Lakeview in the first semi-final at the Rotary Softball Complex at 10:00 a.m. on June 4.

Battle Creek Central will play Sturgis in the second semifinal at 12:00 noon.

Saturday’s semi-final winners will meet for the district title at 2:30 p.m..
