HOMER, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Orioles swept a Big 8 Conference doubleheader at Homer on Wednesday by scores of 11-4 and 10-8.
The Orioles used a seven-run third inning to win the opener which was keyed by a grand slam home run by Cemara Paul.
Danika Skirka was the winning pitcher as she struck out seven and did now allow a walk. She was backed by a 13 hit attack.
Skirka and McKynna Connin also homered for Quincy.
Skirka was also the winning pitcher in the second game.
Alyssa McCavit earned the save.
Deziray Skirka and Paul both had three hits.
