BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Road Commission has announced their Preventive Maintenance Plan for this year.
It includes a project on U.S. 12 which is getting underway on Monday.
Maintenance work is taking place on 12 between Fiske Road and Michigan Avenue. This work is being coordinated through the Michigan Department of Transportation.
Work on River Road between U.S. 12 and Union City Road is scheduled to start next Monday, May 16.
Crews will also be working on South Ray Quincy Road between Grove and Southern Roads next Monday.
Over 17 miles of Branch County roads are scheduled for paving work this year.
The largest section of road to repaved is nearly three-and-a-half miles of Batavia Road between U.S. 12 and Central Road.
