KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Kalamazoo woman has won the Pulitzer Prize in poetry for her 2021 work titled, “frank: sonnets.”
Diane Seuss is a long-time teacher and writer in residence at Kalamazoo College. The prize announcement was made Monday
Seuss was a finalist for the 2016 Pulitzer in poetry for another collection she wrote called “Four-Legged Girl.”
“frank: sonnets” is Seuss’ fifth published work.
