HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – A perfect game by Alexis Bills highlighted the Coldwater Cardinals sweep of the Hastings Saxons on Thursday in an Interstate 8 girls softball doubleheader.
Bills threw a five inning perfect game in the opener as the Cardinals posted an 18-0 victory.
Brooklyn Kerry led the Cardinal offense in the first game with four hits.
Jayla Foster had three hits including a homer and four RBI’s.
Brianna Omo and Morgan Dancer both had three hits.
Coldwater dominated the second game as well as they posted a 16-0 victory.
MacKenzie Scheid was the winning pitcher.
Bills and Foster both had two doubles. Bills had four RBI’s.
With one week to go in the regular season, Coldwater is now 16-8 overall and 9-3 in the Interstate 8.
