DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Miguel Cabrera is coming through again for the Detroit Tigers.
The 39-year-old hit a walk-off RBI single as Detroit beat the Guardians 4-3 at home.
Cabrera led the way with three hits and two RBI in the victory.
Gregory Soto got his second win in relief after Tarik Skubal allowed three runs over seven frames for the no-decision.
The Tigers have won two straight to improve to 16-and-28. Detroit sends right-hander Alex Faedo to the mound tonight as their series continues with Cleveland. The opening pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
