Allison B. Gaglio, 61, of Tekonsha, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at her home.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home. A private interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Allison was born July 15, 1960 in Ann Arbor, MI to Robert and Marylee (Burke) Symmonds.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education and taught school for the Tekonsha Community School System for many years.
Allison enjoyed knitting and reading. She was most proud of recently authoring the book “Little Miss Sassy Pants” which was published in 2019.
Allison is survived by her son Nick Gaglio of Coldwater; her father Robert Symmonds of Iron River; her brother David Symmonds of Crystal Falls; her former husband Joe Gaglio of Coldwater; and her grandchildren Amber Lynn and Kane. She was preceded in death by her mother Marylee Symmonds, her brother Robert James Symmonds and her son Matthew Gaglio in 2009. www.dutcherfh.com.
