Alfred Eugene “Al” “Sonny” Gochanour, 69, of Litchfield, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo surrounded by family.
There will be no services of calling hours at this time for Alfred Eugene “Al” “Sonny” Gochanour. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
He was born on December 5, 1952 in Albion to Alfred and Eleanor (Hess) Gochanour Jr..
Al graduated from Litchfield High School, Class of 1971. He loved fishing, playing baseball and muscle cars. Most of all he loved his kitty’s Bob and Sylvester.
Al is survived by nine siblings, Leonard “Lenny’ (Shelby) Gochanour of Quincy, Robert “Kim” Gochanour of Litchfield, Vicki Mosher of Litchfield, Monte Gochanour of Litchfield, Sheri Price of Hillsdale, Terry Gochanour of Litchfield, Deb Gochanour of Litchfield, Jim (Cindy) Gochanour of Coldwater, Jacki (Allen)Turner of Illinois; eight nieces and nephews, Michael Null of Litchfield, Matthew Price of Hillsdale, Tim Price of Osseo, Eric Gochanour of Indiana, Leila Hempker of Brighton, Emma Gochanour of Coldwater, Blake Gochanour and Jeanah Gochanour; great nephews, Billy and Austin Gochanour, Liam and Lincoln Price and Lennon Hempker and great niece, Arwen Hempker.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one niece, Danielle Price.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hillsdale County Humane Society.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.
