DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kody Clemens hit his third home run of the season while Miguel Cabrera drove in three runs as the Detroit Tigers topped the Cleveland Guardians 8-2 Wednesday night at Comerica Park to wrap up a four game sweep.
Michael Pineda gave up just two runs over five innings to pick up the win.
Shane Bieber got the loss pitching five-and-two-thirds innings while giving up five runs on seven hits.
Detroit is now 34-and-47 on the season.
The Tigers visit the Chicago White Sox tonight for the start of a ten game road trip. They won’t be back at Comerica Park until after the All-Star break.
The opening pitch tonight is scheduled for 8:10 p.m. EDT.
