DEROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers are celebrating a series win. They topped the Padres 4-3 in the rubber match of their three-game set at Comerica Park Wednesday afternoon.
Victor Reyes hit a walk-off two-run double in the ninth inning for the Tigers, who are 3-and-4 since the All Star Break.
The Tigers begin a seven-game road trip tonight in Toronto. The opening pitch is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. EDT.
