SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazilian state-controlled lender Banco do Brasil SA on Wednesday reported its second-quarter net profit rose 38% from a year earlier, beating market forecasts.
Banco do Brasil’s net income came in at 7.62 billion reais ($1.50 billion), while analysts polled by Refinitiv had expected it to reach 6.48 billion.
