DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Tigers used a four-run fifth inning to defeat the Kansas City Royals 5-4 on Friday night at Comerica Park.
The win snapped a three game losing streak for the Tigers. Ryan Kridler scored twice in his major league debut, including the go-ahead run on pinch-hitter Harold Castro’s seventh inning single.
Andrew Chafin was credited with the win. Gregory Soto earned his 24th save.
