KANSAS CITY, MO (WKZO AM/FM) – Brady Singer dominated on the mound as the Kansas City Royals beat the Detroit Tigers 4-0 Sunday afternoon at Kauffman Stadium.
Singer earned his eighth win after holding Detroit to four hits over seven scoreless innings. Michael Massey hit his second home run in the victory, and Drew Walters drove in a pair of runs.
Tyler Alexander was charged with his tenth loss after surrendering four runs in five innings.
The loss ends Detroit’s three-game winning streak.
The Tigers open a three game series with Houston tonight at Comerica Park. The opening pitch is set for 6:40 p.m.
