STURGIS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Actor and legalization advocate Cheech Marin will celebrate the Michigan launch of his “Cheech’s Stash” line of premium cannabis flower at the Bloom City provisioning center in Sturgis this Sunday, September 18.
The store will be celebrating the product launch with special discounts and providing free Cheech’s Stash posters and t-shirts with every purchase all day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Marin will be on site to sign posters for lucky customers from 2-4 p.m.
“When you think about cannabis there are a few names that immediately stick out, and Cheech is one that everyone thinks of first!” said Bloom City Sturgis General Manager, Neil Pagels. “Cheech has been working to normalize cannabis use since before I was born, and that is exactly what we are trying to do at Bloom City Sturgis. Our whole team is thrilled to have him stop by and learn from a living legend while helping to spread the word about his top-shelf grass” said Pagels.
Pagels notes that the Bloom City team has been preparing for weeks to accommodate Cheech’s many fans but is also encouraging customers to be patient.
“The community is absolutely buzzing about the event. At the same time, we’re also trying to make sure our customers are aware that Cheech only has a limited amount of time at the store,” said Pagels. “So while not everyone will get to meet the legend, we’ll have some amazing deals happening and will be handing out limited edition posters and t-shirts to make sure everyone has a great time.”
Cheech’s Stash is currently available in California, Colorado, Nevada and Washington.
This will mark the brand’s first entry into the Michigan cannabis market.
