DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers will introduce Scott Harris as their new president of baseball operations this afternoon.
Harris had been the general manager of the San Francisco Giants and is just 35-years-old.
He said in a statement he is “humbled by the opportunity to lead baseball operations for the Detroit Tigers” and notes the team has a rich history and tradition.
Harris has been with the Giants for three years and spent seven years with the Chicago Cubs organization.
