COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Jackson Lumen Christi held Coldwater to 97 yards total offense as they shut out the Cardinals 41-0 on Purple Night at Cardinal Field.
The Titans collected 418 total yards as they led 7-0 after the first quarter and 35-0 at halftime. The final score of the game came midway through the third quarter as the entire second half was played with a running clock.
Jayden Kegler led Coldwater offensively with 64 yards on 14 carries, while Zach Coffing was 4/11 passing for 10 net yards. Tyson Roby had 9 tackles to lead the defense.
The Cardinals dropped to 0-5 overall, 0-3 in the Interstate 8 and will try for their first victory of the season next Friday, when they host winless Pennfield on Homecoming night.

At Manchester, Quincy lost to the Flying Dutchmen 40-12. The Orioles scored on a pair of 10-yard Brennen Allman TD passes, to Ethan Copas in the second quarter and to Joe Smith in the fourth.
Allman finished 7/14 for 36 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Tre’Von Bodley had 27 carries for 124 yards and added an 11-yard reception. Blaine Pish had 7 solo tackles, an assist, and a sack.
Quincy fell to 0-5 overall, 0-3 in the Big 8 and will host winless Springport next Friday.
