EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – With two weeks left in the regular season for Michigan high school football, the Union City Chargers are in a position to not only make the post season but to have at least one game at home.
The latest playoff points standings from the Michigan High School Athletic Association show the Chargers are 10th among 60 schools in Division Seven with 36.286 points.
After dropping their opening game, the Chargers have won six straight and can wrap up an undisputed Big 8 Conference championship on Friday night with a win at Springport.
Meanwhile, the Tekonsha Indians are in the Eight Person football playoff hunt.
The 6-1 Indians are 15th in the Division One standings with 27.357 points.
